About Us
Who We Are
We are a small team of software developers and artists gathered around Kingston University London. This project would not have been possible without the dedication of our initiators: Andrew Sinclair, the renowned sculptor behind the King Æthelstan statue, and Alan Birkinshaw, a film director and local resident with a deep passion for the history of Kingston upon Thames, who helped bring this vision to life. Special thanks to Jean-Christophe Nebel, Director of Kingston University’s Cyber, Engineering, and Digital Technologies Knowledge Exchange and Research Institute (CEDT KERI), and Marcus O’Dair, Director of Design Arts and Creative Practice (DACP) KERI, whose invaluable support has been crucial to our success. We are also grateful to Scott Furlong, Kathryn Woodvine, Nadia Gockeman, Emma Humphries, Rhys Paul, and others from the Kingston 2025 team for giving us the opportunity to contribute to the borough’s celebration of this historic anniversary and to share our immersive experience with the wider community.
